  • NAVA Contemporary is pleased to present, Getaway, a group show celebrating the promise of escape—the urge to wander, explore, and experience the world beyond the routines of everyday life. Whether it's a distant coastline, a bustling city abroad, a quiet mountain retreat, or simply an afternoon spent at leisure, these moments of departure offer opportunities for discovery, reflection, and renewal.

    Getaway brings together a diverse selection of contemporary artworks that capture the spirit of travel, place, and seasonal respite. Spanning painting, photography, and limited-edition prints, the exhibition invites viewers to journey through sun-drenched landscapes, vibrant destinations, and scenes of recreation and relaxation. While the photographers David Burdeny, Christine Flynn, and Anthony Lamb document specific locations with striking clarity, the artwork of Joseph Conrad-Ferm, James Gilroy, Chase Langford, Ruth Le Roux and Pat Sansone evoke the emotional resonance of being elsewhere: the anticipation of a trip, the nostalgia of a remembered vacation, or the simple pleasure of slowing down.
