Biography

Christian Lord works primarily in sculpture with an emphasis in ceramics. His work is interested in the history of craft as it pertains to social histories and class hierarchies in the United States. His most recent work explores the origin myths of “Americaness” in the colonial ceramics as seen through the lens of minimalism and process art.
